Ring Bearer

Owen had the privilege of being one of the Ring Bearers in his Aunt Jaclyn's wedding last month. The wedding was held at the The Purple Orchid Inn in Livermore, CA. It was beautiful!

Jason, Jimy's nephew, was also a ring bearer. He was a really nice young man and guided Owen down the aisle.

When it was time for the rings Owen did a very dramatic stomp walk up to Aunt Jaclyn!

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

I got it into my head to cut all my hair off today and donate it to Locks of Love!

14 inches - bye bye

This is the third time I've cut a significant amount of my hair in one sitting. Every time it has been spur of the moment too! The first time was 12 inches in 1992, however, Locks of Love was not founded until 1997. So all my hair went in the trash. My Mom cried. The second time was 24 inches in 2003, which I donated to Locks of Love. I called my Mom before she saw me to give her some time to prepare herself. Today my Mom was with me, she took it it stride! ;-)

Riding The Rails

We had some free time over Aunt Jaclyn's Wedding weekend (pics to come soon) so we hopped in the car and headed over to Sunol. We went to visit the train depot. We hit the jack pot because they were having a commemorative ride on an antique steam engine through Sunol to Niles Canyon and back. It was Beautiful!! We got to walk all over the train, see inside both inside and outside cars, and at one point they let us all off so we could take pictures of the train in motion. It was Awesome! We'll be loading some videos on YouTube soon so watch for that! ;-D
