Dismukes Ranch

Jen Dismukes hosted a play date for StrollerFriends at her home this month. It was so much fun! Her family lives on a Ranch with dogs, cows, and horses. The kiddos got to play with the dogs, see the cows, and feed the horses carrots. After a picnic lunch, Jen took the kids for rides on her 4 wheelers! Owen would like to go live with Jen... but he'll settle for us getting a dog and a 4 wheeler, lol!

This is Taffy, she is very pregnant. Jen had hoped she would give birth before the play date so the kiddos could see the new baby. James and Owen are getting acquainted with her.

Surf's Up!

We celebrated Owen's 4th Birthday with a Mickey Mouse Surf Party at Grandpa Russ and Grandma Brenda's house. The party was a blast! Lots of swimming, sliding, good food, and good friends!

When I asked Owen what kind of birthday cake he wanted this year, he said, "Raspberry," then I asked what he wanted on it, "Candles, of course!" "How do you want it decorated?" I asked. Owen thought for a moment and announced, "I'd like my picture on it." Aly gave me the idea to make my own cupcake toppers. As you can see, some of them have Owen's picture, others have Mickey ears and number 4s, and some have little surf boards.
