Last night, Owen came stomping down the hall to my bedroom saying, "Fe Fi Fo Fum Here I come to get my Mom!"

I thought it was hilarious!

Happy Earth Day

We are home sick this week so no fun Earth Day plans for us.

Our friend, Aly, shared some great ideas for an Earth Day celebration:

*paint potting cups and planting seeds in them. Tomato plants, strawberries, carrot seeds, zucchini and melons are all good for planting right now.

*Growing alfalfa sprouts are always fun. You do it in a clear jar on the countertop and in 3 days they are ready to eat. Sunflower or broccoli sprouts are really good too.

*Go for a walk to a park and pick up any trash along the way, take an alternate way home to pick up any more trash.

*Composting

Remember it is important to take care of our planet every day! We hope every body has a lovely Earth Day!

Aaron expressed some disappointment the other day at the news that Cinderella is Owen's current favorite movie. I rolled my eyes and responded, "He's two." Aaron whined, "He's a two year old BOY." So I reminded him that when we took Owen to Target and let him pick out any toy he wanted he chose a Jack Hammer!

Owen's cousin Jackson came from Colorado to visit last week! The boys had a great time playing together! Owen is always so tickled when Jackson stays the night at our house!

Our Easter fun seemed to keep going and going this year! We started on Thursday, decorating eggs, and finished up Monday night with more Easter treats for Owen!

He had accidentally stepped on her foot and he bent down to kiss it to help her feel better!

It's A Surprise

We were able to keep Dr. Rick's birthday party a secret ALL week! I was sure Owen would announce that we had got him a card that played music at one of our appointments. At the party, Owen was so cute, he whispered to everyone that when Doc-Doc comes through the door we have to say surprise sooo loud!
